At its core Zafrens is an attempt to harness opportunities at the intersection of technical disciplines. To this end we specialize in forging autonomous, high-performing, mission oriented teams focused on delivering assets and foundational capabilities that can be deployed to diverse challenges. 

Our current mission is to democratize access to therapeutics, irrespective of modality.

As a first step, we have developed an experimental platform  that can perform 1000x more experiments, down to single-cell CITE-seq resolution, for the time and cost of one conventional 96-well plate experiment today. Because we can generate deep insights rapidly, we are able to span different therapeutic modalities seamlessly on the same platform.  

We have found that most of our colleagues identify as intrepid explorers focused on collaborative, interlinked success, and deeply value critical thinking and deliberate execution in our journey together.
